What is the Greatest Question ever asked? - Page 5

Those who have been baptized are commanded to live a faithful, godly life. (Colossians 2:12-14; 3:1-6; 1 Corinthians 15:58; Luke 9:62) If one does not, he will fall from grace. (Hebrews 3:12; Galatians 5:4; II Peter 2:20-22).

Those who have been Christians and have departed from the way of righteousness are commanded to return to God through repentance and prayer. (Acts 8:22; Luke 15:11-32; 1 John 1:7-10) If one does not, he will be a castaway. (1 Corinthians 9:27; Revelation 2:4-5)

Have You Done These Things?

These terms: faith, repentance, confession and baptism into Christ are all that God requires of the sinner. One cannot be pleasing to God and do either more or less than these specified things, and any other plan just will not save!

There is no other way, and to be right with God and prepared to

meet him in judgment, this obedience must be rendered. Now is the accepted time (2 Cor. 6:2). If you desire to render this obedience, you are urged to contact the church of Christ nearest you. There you will find not only the assistance you need in obeying the gospel, but also the place where you may live, serve and worship according to the New Testament plan. We urge you to act today. Do what you need to do to obey God's terms of salvation.
